LeAnn Rimes Calls 150% BS on Engagement Story

Sources say Eddie Cibrian is pissed that news of his engagement to LeAnn Rimes has spread. The reason? He and his annoying fiancee wanted to cash in by making this announcement via a tabloid exclusive.
But Rimes is taking the couple's anger a step further, claiming she and Cibrian are NOT betrothed and taking major issue with E! News, who first reported the story.
"I've about had it with the lack of "reporting," she Tweeted yesterday. "The fact that our "engagement" has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an E News article that is 150% untrue just shows you the lack of credible "sources" they seem to find and build a story around."
LeAnn
E! News, meanwhile, says it spoke with a family insider who confirmed the engagement and also phoned LeAnn's publicist, who did not deny the claim.
Rimes goes on to make it sound like an engagement is imminent, but as multiple outlets report, clearly wants to make the announcement herself and find a new way to rake in money since her music career fell flat on its face years ago.
"Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all and hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friend's [sic] before the world knows (contrary to reports on our intentions)."
The hilarious questions now remain: How long will Rimes and Cibrian withhold this news, and to what tabloid will they sell it out?

Liberals and Conservatives Unite Around Keith Olbermann, Ask MSNBC: Seriously?!?

Who would have ever thought that Keith Olbermann would be the man to bring liberals and conservatives together?!?
But in the hours following MSNBC President Phil Griffin's bizarre decision to suspend Olbermann for donating money to democratic candidates, anchors and pundits from across the political spectrum have expressed outrage over the action.
Angry Olbermann
Take it away, William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard one of the most conservative commentators on the planet:
"[It's] ludicrous. First, he donated money to candidates he liked. He didn’t take money, or favors, in a way that influenced his reporting. Second, he’s not a reporter. It’s an opinion show. If Olbermann wants to put his money where his mouth is, more power to him."
It's worth noting that the policy at MSNBC does not ban employees from making donations. It only requires they ask permission first, which Olbermann failed to do.
Rachel Maddow acknowledges that distinction, along with her colleague's mistake in ignoring it, but urged her network to re-install Olbermann as the host of Countdown last night. She also used the incident to illustrate a major difference between MSNBC and Fox News:
The former suspended its most well-known personality for contributing to a campaign; the latter uses its programs to openly raise money for Republicans, while its hosts have all given money across the board to conservative candidates. The former is an admittedly biased news service; the latter is a political operation.

Miley Cyrus: Criticized for Drinking, Risky Behavior

This is so not what Miley Cyrus needs right now.
Just days after her parents filed for divorce and her relationship with Liam Hemsworth ended, the 17-year old finds herself under fire for underage drinking. In Spain.

The singer is spending a few days in Madrid as she prepares to perform tomorrow night at the MTV European Music Awards. On Thursday evening, she was spotted in a bar with a bottle of Corona in her hands.
Spanish officials say the star didn't break any laws (the legal drinking age in the country is 18, but, seriously, no one cares there), but the head of the International Institute for Alcohol Awareness has taken issue with Miley's "risky behavior."
"The young people that see her as a role model could mimic the same behavior and as a consequence will go out and become intoxicated, putting their safety at risk," James E. Copple said in a statement.
Wow. Look, few sites have given Miley more of a hard time than THG, especially when it comes to pole dancing performances, skimpy clothing and overall antics that have led to us labeling Cyrus as a "colossal disappointment."
But she drank a beer in a country that essentially has no drinking age. The International Institute for Alcohol Awareness might wanna relax. What do you think? Miley should...

Emma Watson: I Belong at Brown

To movie fans, Emma Watson will always be Hermione Granger. They can get a look at her in this role via our latest round of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows photos.
But the actress feels just at home on the college campus of Brown University as she does on the big screen, a fact she goes into detail about in this month's Marie Claire. Excerpts, and pictures, from the interview are below.

On life at Brown: Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me. They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I’m part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn’t even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I’d found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged.
On portraying Hermione: I felt like I knew exactly who she was. Like me, she’s very loyal and determined, she’s very intelligent, and she has a lot of guy friends, as I do. Her eagerness to please and to have the right answer is definitely like me. I’m a perfectionist, so my bossiness definitely comes out.
