Why Did Jenna Jameson Quit Porn?

She did it for the kids. Or, rather, she stopped doing it for the kids.
Jenna Jameson, who has not starred in an adult film since Kobe Loves Jenna, told W Magazine in its latest issue that she will no longer get penetrated by men or women on camera. The reason?
“I really don’t think I need to say, ‘Mommy was a porn star,’” Jameson said of explaining her former occupation to Jesse and Journey, her twin sons Tito Ortiz.

Just how far is Jameson taking this new approach? She says she "won't even do a Maxim cover" and added she hopes her children are proud:
“I feel like they’re going to know me and think, Mommy loved us so much that she quit everything and made us her job. And that’s what I did. The moment I decided to have children, I quit."
Jenna now resides with Ortiz - with whom she's had some recent, serious difficulties - in Huntington Beach, California. Of her life these days, the quasi actress concludes:
"I’m a normal girl with all the same worries and insecurities. I just happen to have done porn.”

TJ Lavin Heads Home from Hospital

A month after a harrowing accident placed him in intensive car, BMX star TJ Lavin has been released from the hospital.
The athlete's mother told The Las Vegas Review-Journal that her son - who was placed in a coma to stop swelling in his brain, and also suffered an orbital fracture and a broken right wrist - has made significant progress and "is now walking, talking, eating on his own and is getting his sense of humor back."
TJ Lavin
"He has some eye issues and balance issues, but as the swelling goes down, we hope they will go away," Barbara Lavin said. "He's starting to get his personality back."
Going forward, Lavin will have to wear an eye patch occasionally, but will receive assistance from fiancée Roxanne Siordia. He'll soon join a program for brain injuries at an outpatient facility in Las Vegas and has told friends he wants to ride again someday.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: Jennifer Grey is Perfect!

Jennifer Grey certainly made a statement last night.
With just one night remaining before the finals, and voters paying scant attention to scores for several weeks now, there is no margin for error. Everyone is at risk.
Well, everyone but her. The way she and Derek Hough danced Monday, the other three pairs are tangoing for second. A perfect 30 once? Amazing. Twice? Unheard of.

HAND HER THE MIRRORBALL: Hopefully next week, the voters will.
The 90-minute program was probably the most entertaining of the season so far, as all the couples stepped up their game, including Bristol Palin, who wasn't terrible.
Not that she deserves to make the finals over Jennifer, Brandy or Kyle Massey. Each outperformed Bristol, predictably, last night as they have for the final month.
Let's break it down by couple. Regaining sole ownership of the top of the charts were Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, whose efforts were pure perfection.
Their first dance was the cha cha, set to Duffy’s “Mercy,” and when Bruno calls it "luminous, vibrant, sexy" and flawless execution, well, you knew 30 was comin'.
Amazingly, it got better. An elegant routine that was pure dance, their waltz was a gem. Carrie Ann called it “one of the most beautiful things ever.” Apparently. 30.
Flying under the radar much of the fall, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer showed why they've lasted so long with a fun-loving rumble of a samba. Good for 29.
How can you not love this guy and the infectious energy he brings week in and week out? The couple brought it a second time in their tango, scoring another 29.
Brandy started things off with a bold paso doble, which she compared to coming into one's own, a la Katy Perry's "Firework." Imperfect but solid, it netted her a 27.
Their tango, however, had no such imperfections. Awarding her 30, the judges called it “lush” “voluptuous” and “full of flavor,” with marvelous body extension.
Finally, Bristol Palin. Despite our conspiracy theory about why she's still on the show, she did pull off a pretty fierce paso doble with Mark Ballas, earning a nice 27.
Her waltz, unfortunately, fell just a little bit short. It was far from bad, don't get us wrong, but she needed to be nearly perfect to compete and wasn't with a 26.
The Dancing With the Stars scores:
  • Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 60 (30, 30).
  • Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 58 (29, 29).
  • Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 57 (30, 27).
  • Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 53 (27, 26).
Well, how do you see it playing out tonight? Can Bristol do the impossible and make the finals? If she does, it will be at the expense of someone more deserving.

Nick Lachey to Jessica Simpson: Congratulations!

Divorce is a painful process for couples, so there are going to be mixed emotions if a former spouse gets re-married. Just the same, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson appear nothing but happy for each other.
Much as the tabloids wish he'd give a better sound bite, Nick wishes nothing but the best for Jess, who got engaged to Eric Johnson over the weekend.
"I will say the same thing I always say: I wish her the very best," said Lachey, who just got engaged to Vanessa Minnillo himself after years of dating.

NICK AND JESSICA: Past and future newlyweds.
Asked how she felt about Lachey's engagement, Simpson is equally mature, telling Ryan Seacrest "Our relationship was over a really long time ago, and it would be nice if everyone could move on and celebrate the love between him and Vanessa."
Like Jessica, Nick says he's "basking in the glow" of the news and "enjoying that. I'm sure we'll get on the other planning shortly. We are just enjoying this experience."
Simpson and Lachey famously wed in 2002 and infamously split in 2005. Even then, it wasn't bitter. "This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other," they said in a statement.
