To movie fans, Emma Watson will always be Hermione Granger. They can get a look at her in this role via our latest round of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows photos.
But the actress feels just at home on the college campus of Brown University as she does on the big screen, a fact she goes into detail about in this month's Marie Claire. Excerpts, and pictures, from the interview are below.

On life at Brown: Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me. They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I’m part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn’t even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I’d found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged.

On portraying Hermione: I felt like I knew exactly who she was. Like me, she’s very loyal and determined, she’s very intelligent, and she has a lot of guy friends, as I do. Her eagerness to please and to have the right answer is definitely like me. I’m a perfectionist, so my bossiness definitely comes out.

Sounds filthy. Spears has reportedly finished three new songs for the album, and grimy new release is slated for an early 2011 release. Supposedly.

Catya is accustomed to the finer things in life and plans on living the life of luxury as long as she can.
So reads the online profile for Catya Washington, a member of Oxygen's Bad Girls Club in Miami. Unfortunately for this trouble maker, she may need to change her perception of luxurious from high class clubs to top notch cigarette brands, as she's been arrested on a number of series charges.

As first reported by TMZ and confirmed by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, Washington was arrested yesterday for cocaine, mushroom and ecstasy possession. She also had a gun on her.

The busty realty star was booked on five counts, including possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of an instrument of crime. She's being held on $500,000 bail and is due in court on November 22.

Mother of Mario Barrett: My Bad!

Mario Barrett is off the legal hook.
In early October, the R&B singer was arrested for assault because his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, accused her son of shoving her in the chest and trashing her apartment. Readers, however, suspected that Hardaway's history of substance abuse played a role in this allegation.

David Cassidy Arrested For DUI

Former Partridge Family star David Cassidy was arrested in Florida Wednesday night on suspicion of DUI. Cops found a half empty bottle of bourbon in his car.
The 60-year-old former teen idol was weaving on and off the road a number of times on Florida's Turnpike around 8:00 p.m. and was eventually pulled over.
According to cops, Cassidy told the trooper he'd had a glass of wine around lunch time and popped a hydrocodone painkiller a few hours before the arrest.

David Cassidy's mug shot is scary. Mostly because it's so low-res.

Police ordered the father of Gossip Girl star Katie Cassidy (who was in a DUI bust herself in 2007) to get out of the car and say he was "swaying while standing."
David Cassidy took a breath test and blew a 0.139 and 0.141 - way over the .08 legal limit. A half-empty bottle of bourbon was then found inside his Mercedes.
Cassidy was taken to a nearby jail and booked for DUI.
The actor is adamant that he was NOT hammered on booze when he got behind the wheel last night and says he plans to fight the DUI charges tooth and nail.
He admits he did take a pain pill for his back earlier in the day and may have been tired from an early morning funeral he had to attend, but he wasn't drunk.
Cassidy is also disputing the results of the two breathalyzer tests he took at the time of arrest, insisting his true BAC could not have been properly measured.
Cassidy's rep tells us the actor is already on the hunt for a lawyer and plans to fight the charges adding, "He would never jeopardize anyone on the road."
"He would not have been driving had he not had to go to a funeral ... he's never been arrested in his life before for anything."

Bryan Masche may be a poor husband and lousy father, but he won't be going to jail for it.
The Raising Sextuplets star was arrested in September and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and threatening domestic violence after he screamed at wife Jenny in front of their kids.
But an insider close to the case tells Radar Online that Masche has reached offered a plea agreement and he will plead guilty this afternoon to two misdemeanor counts:  threatening and intimidating per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence.

Neither charge will result in jail time.

Instead, the reality star will be required to attend both parenting classes and individual counseling sessions. We'd also force him to listen to LeAnn Rimes whine everyday about her image in light of her affair, but that's just us.

“It’s for my female fans. I want to create something that will have the girls go crazy," he told People. "Most male celebrities do male colognes for other males. I think that me making a female fragrance is just a different idea and I think it’s going to be successful."

To be clear, this product is different than the scented-filled items Bieber will also be coming out with in 2011, as the artist continues to grow his brand and his popularity.

What will be next? Perhaps a line of eyewear. It would make sense, wouldn't it?

Alex Welch: Considering Legal Action Against Demi Lovato

Following Demi Lovato's admission that she's seeking treatment for numerous personal issues, details began to leak out over the incident that prompted this singer to take such a courageous step.
Almost all reports confirm that there was a confrontation at an airport in Peru between Lovato and a backup dancer on tour with her and The Jonas Brothers, with some sources claiming Demi blamed this girl for ratting her and others out for partying the night before.
Now, TMZ has identified the victim of Demi's anger as Alex Welch, a member of Beat Freaks, which actually earned the runner-up title on season 3 of America's Best Dance Crew. She also appeared in Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love" video.

Witnesses say Welch had a black eye from a punch thrown by Demi, and that Lovato felt "awful" after it all went down. She apologized, left the tour and, of course, is now entering rehab.

But TMZ also quotes an insider who says this might not be enough for Welch. She's reportedly having discussions with lawyers and is considering legal action. Let's hope she doesn't go through with it, as Lovato made a major mistake and appears to be taking the steps necessary to rectify it.

"Taylor was smitten from day one, but Lily let him know she was in a relationship with a stuntman who was working on a Steven Spielberg movie in New Mexico. When the boyfriend got suspicious because Lily didn't return calls promptly, he hopped a plane and turned up unannounced to confront her."

Julien Hug Death Devastates Bachelorette Cast

Former Bachelorette contestant Julien Hug was found dead yesterday. The star of the season he appeared on, Jillian Harris, is “completely heartbroken” over it.
“I am completely heartbroken for the Hug family. My whole heart goes out to them today as they mourn a precious life that ended far too soon,” Harris said.
“It’s very difficult to find the words to express my condolences.”

Julien Hug's death hit close to home for Jillian Harris.

Jillian Harris describes Hug’s death as “so so sad” and remembered him fondly. He received a rose the first night and spent some one-on-one time with her.
“I will always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed,” she said of the 35-year-old Californian, who had gone missing.
His fellow cast member and longtime friend, Kiptyn Locke, said “I knew him before the season. He was one of the most positive selfless people I knew.”
“Everyone who knew him loved him. He is a guy who really enjoyed life. He was a thrill seeker,” Kiptyn said. “He was a sky diver, he did tons of jumps.”
Kiptyn says he and girlfriend Tenley Molzahn were shaken.
“We were just saying how important it is to make sure you tell everyone in your life just how much you love them and how much they mean to you.”
It is unclear at this time what caused the death of Julien Hug, but our condolences go out to the family and friends of this special Bachelorette alum.
